API Terms

The ImageToSpeech API is launching soon. These terms govern API access in private beta and at general availability.

Last updated: May 18, 2026

Eligibility and authentication

API access requires an active paid plan and a generated API key. Keep your keys secret — anyone with your key can incur charges and submit content as you.

Rate limits and fair use

Each plan has documented per-minute and per-day rate limits. Sustained abuse, scraping behaviour, or attempts to circumvent limits may result in throttling or suspension.

Acceptable use

API usage is bound by our Acceptable Use Policy and AI Usage Policy. You are responsible for content submitted by your end users.

Caching and storage

You may cache generated audio to reduce duplicate calls. You may not resell raw API output as a competing image-to-speech API.

Attribution

Attribution is not required for end-user audio but is appreciated. "Powered by ImageToSpeech" badges and brand assets are in our Press Kit.

Changes

We may evolve API surfaces during beta. Breaking changes will be announced with at least 30 days' notice once the API is GA.
